SFP 66: Zeit-Lies! Part 4

Welcome. Today we’re going to talk about the new addition to the Zeitgeist universe, Zeitgeist Addendum, or, as some have called it, Zeitgeist 2. I call it the ‘Zeitgeist universe’ because those associated with these films are sure not living in mine. Let me be so bold as to explain what I mean.

One of the things mentioned in the film is that we must be willing to accept new information, no matter how it threatens our beliefs, and thereby our identities. This is a correct statement. We should be willing to accept new information, for if you look, most new information from the scientific world is doing nothing more than pointing out the grandness of God.

Look at things like the cell, where we are learning that it is so complex as to basically be impossible to be gradually evolved, and therefore must have been engineered. This kind of information is not threatening to our faith, in fact it actually confirms it.

There is no information that is being brought forth that is a threat to us as believers. By this I mean there is no new learning that is going to disprove our God or our Savior, no matter what someone thinks or hopes.

(2Ti 3:16) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2Ti 3:17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

You see, the Bible can handle it all, and bring us closer to God. There is nothing to fear from science, since science is merely the study of God’s creation. In the end it will always confirm the hand of a creator, which is of course God. (Joh 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (Joh 1:2) The same was in the beginning with God. (Joh 1:3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

So be open to new information, new learning, for it will just show you the beauty of God’s handiwork here on earth.

Really you shouldn’t blow up at people that try to challenge your faith. You should listen to them, understand their arguments, and then refute them with the Scriptures in such a way that you might have the chance to lead them to the Lord.

There is no reason to get angry over the situation. If they won’t listen, let them be, and go about your life. When I do these podcasts on these types of subjects, I’m not angry. I’m not angry at the makers of Zeitgeist, or anyone else. I feel an obligation to point out the lies, but the people do not anger me.

My faith may cause me to write them off, but they will not anger me because I have a peace they can’t shake. (Joh 14:27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

When they said ‘blind tradition’ you better believe they were talking about Christianity among everything. In fact, I would go so far as to say they were mainly talking about religion, which is, in this country, predominantly Christian.

(Col 2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Funny how the Bible outright calls these people straight up even though it was written all those years ago eh? Says plain as day here we’re not supposed to follow the traditions of men since it can lead us away from Christ.

(Mar 7:7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mar 7:8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. The commandments of God teach that we should follow after Christ, not follow after blind traditions, so they really have missed the boat on this point, haven’t they?

Now how do they figure this? I don’t know about those other religions, nor do I care to know, but I know that Christianity does not stunt social growth in the least. In fact, I would venture that the Bible supports it via providing a set of stable moral values that promote a healthy society.

Secular groups such as this don’t have any room to talk. They are usually supporters of such ideas as is presented in the Georgia Guidestones, which calls for a massive population decrease.

Many people in the secular world have supported such an idea. How would be killing off some nearly 90% of the world’s population be considered ‘social growth’? Some have called for a decrease from 6 billion currently to some quarter-million. The loss of life on this scale would not be what I call ‘building a better tomorrow’!

Now I will give it to the Zeitgeist movies that they do not actually come out and promote eugenics, but I find their stance on other issues to make it likely they do.

Also in that clip we hear them call faith a distortion. Now I will say that they believe in what they believe. They think what they think. They, follow me here, have faith. The definition of faith is Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth. I have strong faith or no faith in the testimony of a witness, or in what a historian narrates. I know these people aren’t gaining this idea from themselves, they are building on what others have already said. That means they are agreeing, or laying judgment that those other New Age and occultist teachers and thinkers were correct. Faith.

This man does not realize that not all religions originated this way. Christianity is founded on Judaism which has recorded how man has come from the dwelling in the Garden to where he is today. There is nothing made up, it is facts as history has them.

Adam was where he said he was, in the Garden. After he was removed, he told his kids about the Garden and they theirs, and eventually it was recorded in writing, and lo and behold, we have Scriptures.

The history was not made up. There are other forms of history that has survived to this day that are true and originated from an oral source. Just because something is old doesn’t mean it is false, it just means it’s old.

Do we have to go here again? They presented, in part one of the first movie, a huge list of deities that supposedly resembled Christ, and predated Him. One good look at the list produced results that were not only wrong, but are downright embarrassing to anyone that actually applies any intelligence to it.

Let’s take a few of the worst examples from part one, to show that this tired, old argument is nothing more than intellectual trickery. It should be noted, if you have not seen this list, that it was presented in a fairly fast scrolling list, and it was glossed over, not promoting any deep examination.

Well, we did a deeper examination. So here’s some of the ‘gods’ they try to use to debunk Christianity and the insanity that they represent.

Crite of Chaldea is a being who seems to only appear on anti-Christ pages, whom all point to another site, book, or person as having the actual proof for who this being was, what they did, and how they resembled Christ. We do not know if this being even ‘existed’ in mythology, when the worship of it was prominent, or any attributes given to it. The source given for Crite appears to have no backing, and may well have made the being up thinking that no one would call the bluff.

Bali is listed as a god from Afghanistan though I cannot find any references outside of the lists claiming the similarity to Jesus. With Afghanistan being an area that has been heavily influenced by Hinduism in the time before Islam, it’s possible they are referring to a minor Hindu deity that has faded with time. Again, this is an entry appearing only on anti-Christ lists with no evidence presented beyond goose chases through like-minded individuals.

Jao of Nepal also only appears on the anti-Christ lists. There was no other information I could find on this being, including on major mythology sites that are considered to be top notch by secular researchers. If you have information on this being, email me.

Wittoba is considered a form of Krishna in one geographical area of followers of Krishna. This is clearly a way to pad the list considering Krishna has already been mentioned.

Atys of Phrygia also known as Attis. Another padding of the list by using a different spelling. Shameful.

Hil Feta is also called Hil AND Feta, or even Hil OF Feta. There are some obvious problems right off the bat. There isn’t even an agreement on the nature of the being, or beings. This could be one god, Hil Feta, two gods, Hil and Feta, or a god of a specific location, Hil of Feta. I cannot find anything on this listing outside of it’s inclusion on anti-Christ lists, with no evidence offered whatsoever to even explain who this being or beings were. If you have any information, email me. Until then, I consider this a padding of the list, and not even a very good one. For all I know, the name could be made up.

This is just a few, and does not include obvious ones like Prometheus, Odin, Thor, and others that we all know have no clear connection to Christianity. We see that they pad the list, they used multiple names for a single being, and they included beings that existence is not supported by any credible, secular mythological/historical/theological groups! So we have a name swapping games, and other beings that might have been made up by some kid sitting in his mother’s basement, since they only appear on one or two obscure, non-educational pages. When the best you have is chuck’s room dot com, and nothing from a group or university, people aren’t and shouldn’t take you seriously. This list contained more than one being like this.

A later list blows their intellectual integrity even more when they list traits of Christ against Horus I believe it was, they list Christ was the quote ‘little black bambino’! You have to be quick with the pause button, but it is there. That would seem to be a joke, and a not very amusing one at that. But don’t throw racial jokes around and then expect me to think of you all seriously with your next breath. This reference can be found on the scrolling list that comes along at 27 minutes in or so, in that general vicinity.

There are many sects of Christianity that much cannot be denied. And yes, some groups vary wildly from others, but that is just the nature of things. We will always have differing opinions in this world. There is no way we will all agree on everything at one time. I honestly don’t think it’s possible to all be ‘of one mind’ so to speak.

We are humans, we have brains, the ability to think, decide, judge factors, and have our own opinions. We will always have those that see things differently than others. It is just the way things are.

Religiously speaking, we are told not to conform to the world, we are told to have a different opinion. (Rom 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Make no mistake however, these people are not all of one mind either. There is an insane amount of New Age groups and movements out there, of which the Zeitgeist people are a member of. They have just as much division and different sects as any other religion in the world. And yes, the New Age is a religion, period.

I will probably be called stupid for this one, but it struck me and I have to mention it. The clip there said that all system are emergent right? Well, what does emergent mean? I think they want us to use the definition issuing or proceeding from, as my dictionary lists it. If this is the case, that it is emerging from previous systems, then why is it invented for conversation?

And if you include nature, you are getting into the territory of self eradication, because if nature is not real, and there is no God, then we cannot exist, and somehow our existence, as we know it here, becomes a paradox. If there is nothing, what are we?

If we exclude nature to allow for our existence, and limit the systems to social and political ones, we have to admit that not all systems are emergent as in they did not rise out of some truth of life, but instead some were invented. Either the system is invented, and not emergent as in out of some spring of truth and reality, or they are all invented, if you are so leather-bent on making a blanket statement.

Now we’re in the unconditional love department, are we? Well, I hate to tell them that extensionality does not make you love everything. For example, I hate my hair. Maybe not a literal burning hatred, but I dislike it and would probably change it if I could. There is no unconditional love there. It may be a part of me, since according to these guys everything is, but I still don’t like it.

This may seem like a silly argument, but the idea that just because something is part of you makes you love it is silly too. I have personally at times in my life hated myself, so how, in those moments, can I love everything if I hate the me which is supposedly everything?

And that’s a hatred to take seriously, at least with some people. There are those that hate themselves to the point they take their own lives. This is a serious kind of feeling, and not something you can just shrug off. If they could not feel love for themselves personally, what good would telling them they are one with a trashcan or a car or a donkey do? None whatsoever.

Also we have the issue of sick people, as in murderers and the criminally insane. These people probably aren’t loved by everyone, especially the victims and their families, which nullifies the idea that knowing we’re all connected brings unconditional love.

There are sick people in the world that will kill, maim, and commit other violent acts whether there is a monetary system or not. They tell us that prisons would become obsolete if there was no money, but that is a lie.

Some people commit their crimes for the rush, some are crimes of passion. If you have a serial killer, he is not likely killing for cash, he’s probably insane and killing because he’s out of his head. We would want him locked up, connected or not.

Then you have the husband that murders his wife’s lover when he catches them in the act of adultery. He would need to face a punishment of some sort for his crime as well. So you see, there is no unconditional love from us thinking we’re connected to objects and people like Charles Manson.

I actually think the idea of Manson and I being connected in some way is repulsive. I feel the same way about all violent criminals. If we are all one, and he’s a murderer, doesn’t that make us all murderers by default? I am no murderer because the Bible commands me on this issue in (Exo 20:13) Thou shalt not kill.

Also if we are one with all the cosmos and all reality, then that makes us equals to all things. You therefore become no better than a mouse, or a cockroach. All life is equal in this system. Now a lot of you might agree with this notion, but it is not a Biblical doctrine.

I believe that life is beautiful and should never be wasted, but there is a separation between us and the animals. Human life is above animal life, for we are allowed to eat the animals, as there are rules on what was edible and what wasn’t in the Old Testament.

Humans fall under the ‘no kill’ rule, meaning our lives are obviously different and above edible animals. (Gen 1:28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

As we see here, we have dominion. Now what does that mean? Sovereign or supreme authority; the power of governing and controlling. So we are given authority, raising us above the natural world. Again, life is precious, and I believe sport hunting is wrong. But hunting for food is fine, and in fact is the way of things.

This extensionality idea is absolutely a religion. They are pitching a faith the same as I am. I just openly admit it and don’t try to hide it. They are nothing more than New Age practitioners pushing their own beliefs.

They have the right, this is the land of free speech, but I have the right to speak against their views, as I am doing. They have the choice of rejecting God, and I have the choice of trying to bring them, and all that I can, closer to God.

Now I want to take a moment to look at their website, and the questions and answers portion, since it does bring a lot of things to light.

The first question is about sources. They claim that we attack and marginalize the ‘messengers’. They say we’ll find a flaw in a scholar and then dismiss their position just because of it.

Well, I don’t think we do that beyond those that are just wrong, and provable. The so-called ‘flaws’ are usually where they’ve done sloppy or incorrect research or have pulled something out of thin air and then claim it to be legitimate. We don’t attack the messenger, but if the messenger lies, we will expose those lies. Don’t claim we marginalize when you’re presenting junk sources and research.

They say that we’ll dismiss someone because they are just a Freemason or something like that, but it should be remembered that some of these groups are biased and should be recognized as such. With the works of Manly P. Hall and Albert Pike, it is easy to say that Freemasonry has an anti-Christian slant and therefore casts a shadow over any statements on religion made by members of the organization.

We don’t write off Freemasons just because they are members of that group but only if they make statements that are false. What makes the Freemasons more likely to be correct than Christians are? Nothing. That is why we will always challenge those that challenge us.

To claim that we use some form of hit tactics is really the pot calling the kettle black.

We are also accused of not doing any real research. They say we just open our Bibles and the encyclopedia. This, in turn, means we have no clue about some obscure fact that is so minor as to not be included in main articles.

This one is a funny one really. You would think that if what they claim is true in regards to mythology that it would be mentioned somewhere. It’s not. If Horus did have all those attributes that they claim, that would make a major source somewhere, and not only some obscure, single scholar’s word.

I have personally dug through tons of information to see if I could substantiate their claims and have found nothing to support what they say. I have done my homework so to speak, and found them lacking. Hours and hours of digging through secular information sources is more than just ‘cracking the Bible’.

And I’m just a minor league player here. There are researchers and pastors among others that have spent a great deal more time than I could imagine looking into these claims and have come up empty as well. I know that personally several of us here on the Revelations Radio Network have done ‘real’ research in places beyond Wikipedia, especially Frank of Salvation Revelation and Wise as Serpents and Chris White at Nowhere to Run and the Full Armor of God podcasts. Those guys and others have shown that it is the Zeitgeist people who are failing in doing their proper research, not us. I think they are pointing fingers hoping no one will notice this fact.

Let’s look at a quote from the website, and we will see the religion they are pushing.

What we do in life through understanding life’s processes is the true philosophy and the faster people stop looking to some invisible power that doesn’t exist for guidance, judgement and afterlife, the faster “heaven” will dawn on the planet earth. The true guidance comes from within, for we are nature itself. We are all brother and sister and we are symbiotically related to all other life forms in the most literal and profound ways. We are God. Period. There is no Evil and no Good- these are false notions based on biased ideals from a very primitive time in our evolution. The fact is we are one family living on the planet in harmony with nature, and religion serves ONLY the perpetuation of division and hatred. Also, the idea that the human race needs religion to be “moral” is absolutely absurd. We are not simply “guilty” or have perpetual “Sin” as certain religions would like you to believe. We are perfect. The reason the world is such a disaster is not because of some innate human flaw. It is a disaster because separatist, racist institutions like Religion, Nationalism and thus Politics, continue to corrupt each generation with the same age old value systems, designed only for social subservience and the perpetuation of the status quo.’

There you have it, we are nature, and thereby one with all. That is a religious statement my friends. It is a statement of their beliefs, what they have faith in. Just because they use language that sounds final doesn’t make them correct, nor does it take away the fact they are New Age to the core.

If we are God, then why are things the way they are? Religion? No, there are many religions that believe we are God. In fact, if you listen to the opening of this podcast, you will hear both Jim Jones and Kenneth Copeland erroneously teach that we are God.

I promote Christianity because it is the true faith and because it is filled with love. They promote their New Age thing because they want you to believe it is love. Well, we’ve already shown that their religion cannot be love because of the lack of love we would have for those among us that are criminally insane, not even counting those that we personally do not love, or even like. Everyone just about has someone they dislike, how is being ‘one’ with the universe going to change that? It’s not. There is no command to change it, no ‘thus sayeth the Lord’ in that scenario.

But in Christianity, which wants to bring the world together in love, there is. Here is what the Lord said: (Mat 5:44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. We are commanded by a higher power to change our thoughts and behaviors because God is love, and God does not want us full of hate for anyone. (1Jn 4:16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

This command from the Lord means that those murderers should be loved, because God loves all of us, every last one, and we should love every last one too. (Joh 13:34) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Jesus loved the whole world, so we are to love the whole world too, as one another. (Joh 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. There is unconditional love, right there. We can call off the hunt, for it is not found in any kind of connectivity, but instead in the Lord.

We are not divisive or ‘spiritually racist’ either. (2Pe 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. This is inclusive, not exclusive! We want everyone to come to repentance and be saved! This is the same as what they are doing, trying to convince everyone to believe in this ‘oneness’ of theirs.

The problem is that we are realists when it comes to our religion. (Mat 7:14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. This verse tells us two things. Firstly that we are a minority, true Christians are, because only a few find this way that leads to life. Secondly this tells us the truth: not everyone is going to agree with us and follow the true God. That’s just a fact of life, there will be scoffers always. We are not denying that we’re not going to get the whole world to be Christian. Jesus was just telling us here that we need to get as many as we can through that strait gate.

We would love to have world unity with our religion, but that’s not going to happen and we’re not going to lie to ourselves and say it is. Bring as many as you can through spreading the Gospel, but realize you can’t win them all.

The only unity will come when Christ returns on the clouds. But that comes when it’s all just about over. Before none can deny Him because He’s standing right before us there will be no complete unity.

If anything they are diluting themselves, these Zeitgeist people, into believing they even have a chance at getting the world to all realize the ‘truth’ they think they’ve found. It’ll never happen, if I personally have to be the last holdout.

We are perfect they say? I’m sorry, my father suffers from a nerve disorder that has him in terrible pain most of the time, my niece is facing developmental challenges and might have some muscular disorder, and I personally have a bone defect that has messed me up, so I absolutely debate this idea that we are perfect.

No social system caused my bones to do what they do. No level of politics or religion puts my dad in pain. It is our natural state. And even if there are secret cures being withheld from us that does not change the fact that we were imperfect without the cures. No, we are flawed, and that is the nature of things. If they cannot see that, then they have reached a point of self delusion that no one can break.

Diseases and disorders are not the result of someone voting for some candidate. That’s just a stupid idea. ‘Oh my brother has rheumatoid arthritis because I voted Republican’, yeah, tell me that’s something that makes a lick of sense. No, our physical world is not impacted at that level by our social systems.

These guys are doing nothing more than promoting their own religion, same as I’m doing. It is up to you who to believe. The Lord loves you even if you decide to deny Him. Until next time, God bless.
