SFP 41: Evil Music Vol. 2: AC\DC
We’re back to continue our look at music and the darkness that is lurking therein. It seems like everywhere we turn there is the Devil’s devices staring us in the face. (2 Corinthians 2:11) AC/DC is another band that has worked tirelessly for their master. And they have no qualms whatsoever to tell you just who their master is.
AC/DC is a band that was around in the ‘80’s and maybe even the ‘70’s. I’m not sure on the history, but that’s not really important. I remember being pretty young when The Razor’s Edge came out, and I don’t think they had many albums after that.
Even if so, again, that’s not the point! The point is the darkness they’ve spewing for decades. I was influenced by this band, along with Metallica, KISS, and Skid Row. Let me tell you, it is a testament to the power of the Lord that I am not wandering in darkness myself right now.
AC/DC is a hard rock band well known for the loss of their lead singer, and subsequent replacement, altering their vocal sound greatly, and even more so for their lead guitarist, Angus Young, who tends to always wear a schoolboy’s uniform similar to one a Catholic school might employ as he shoots across the stage laying down the riffs.
He’s also known for a stutter step looking thing, hard to describe, and a habit of rolling around on the stage during solos played on his signature red and black Gibson SG axe.
Angus Young is considered by many one of the best guitarists of all time.
His brother, Malcolm, handles rhythm guitar for the band.
There are many ideas as to what the name means, such as Anti-Christ/ Devil’s Children, Against Christians/Die Christians, among others. I think I read somewhere that they claim the name came off the bottom of a toaster or something, but I find that highly unlikely.
Let’s get into the darkness. Take a moment to pray and protect yourself.
One of the most infamous sex songs by AC/DC, You Shook Me All Night Long:
She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman
I’d ever seen
She had these thankless eyes
Tellin me no lies
And knocking me out with those American thighs
Take a moment to share
Had me fighting for air
Told me to come
But I was already there
If you didn’t get that last part, it is talking about bodily functions, suffice it to say.
In God’s word, we see that both adultery and fornication is basically the same thing, breaking the vows of the wedding bed, either before entering it, or after becoming a spouse.
(Exo 20:14) Thou shalt not commit adultery. This is a very direct, straightforward command by God. (Pro 6:32) But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. So to commit adultery is not only stupid, it is destructive. You will be wracked with guilt, that is the destruction of the soul. And if you don’t feel guilty, then you’re still destroying your soul by sinning against God.
(Gal 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. These are the leering things that are of the flesh, the selfish, animalistic lust that burns in the human heart. We are to rise above, strong in our spirit, not dive headfirst into things that remind us of the flesh.
(Mat 15:19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Jesus Himself confirms that the flesh is given to sexual lusts, among other sins.
(Act 15:20) But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. These are things we should avoid when we turn to God.
(1Co 6:18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. This shows us that fornication, sex without marriage, casually, anonymously, all these things are so bad that they are sins against your body as well as your soul. Sounds like the Bible writers were fully aware of STD’s too. If you rob a bank, then your body does not suffer as your soul does for the sin. If you get a disease, then your body is attacked the same as the sin attacks your soul.
(1Co 7:2) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. I am more than positive the woman spoke of in the song was not a ‘wife’ character by a long shot. Odds are the singer, in the world of the song, would not have even known her name.
(Jud 1:7) Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Strange flesh here is homosexuality. The way this verse is written shows us that fornication is sex outside marriage. Doing this, and homosexuality, was enough that God set the example of destroying cities for these sins.
Let’s continue. Shoot To Thrill.
I’m going to take you down
Oh down, down, down
So don’t you fool around
I’m gonna pull it, pull it
Pull the trigger
Shoot to thrill
Way to kill
Too many women
And too many pills yeah
Cuz I shoot to thrill
And I’m ready to kill
And I can’t get enough
And I can’t get my fill
Here we’re seeing the fornication stuff again. He’s offering himself to all women in the song, and is talking about getting high on pills as well. On top of it, he can’t get enough women or dope to ‘get his fill’. (Ecc 5:10) He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. Vain and hedonistic.
Let’s go to our next example of sex from these guys: Given The Dog A Bone
She’ll take you down easy
Going down to her knees
Going down to the Devil
Down, down to 90 degrees
Oh, she’s blowing me crazy
Till my ammunition is dry
Ah she’s using her head again
She using her head
I’m given the dog a bone
If this isn’t glaringly obvious, it is just straight up for the most part talking about oral sex. Not only is it nearly shockingly direct, it’s degrading to women. Very degrading.
(1Th 5:22) Abstain from all appearance of evil. So that covers ‘going down to the Devil’.
(1Pe 3:7) Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. (Eph 5:33) Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Wives and women in general were not second class citizens, they just have a role, like everyone has a role.
Mistress For Christmas:
Get a date with a woman in red
Want to be in Heaven with three in a bed
You got it
I want it
You got it
I can’t have it
But I want it
But it don’t matter
She got it
And I can get it
I want a mistress for Christmas
Oh isn’t this just the positive song? Christmas itself is enough of a pagan holiday without bands begging for prostitutes for a present.
Let’s look at the violent aspect now: If You Want Blood.
If you want blood
You got it
If you want blood
You got it
Blood on the streets
Blood on the rocks
Blood in the gutter
Every last drop
You want blood?
You got it
(Mat 5:39) But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Dirty Deeds:
If you’re having trouble
With the high school head
If he’s giving you the blues
You want to graduate
But not in his bed
Here’s what you gotta do
Pick up the phone
I’m always home
Call me anytime
[gives a phone #]
Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap
Cyanide
TNT
Done dirt cheap!
Neckties
Contracts
High voltage
Done dirt cheap!
This song is just about murder! The whole thing is about killing people, in a dirty manner. Dirty as in with callous disregard for life. In fact, in that last bit about methods, he seems almost gleeful.
(Exo 20:13) Thou shalt not kill.
Here’s the good news: (Luk 12:4) And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
Now AC/DC questions God in Who Made Who?
Who made who?
Who made you?
Who maed who?
Ain’t nobody told you?
Who made who?
Who made you?
If you made them
And they made you
Who picked up the Devil
And who made who?
(Gen 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Joh 1:3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. God made everything. Period. (Eze 28:15) Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Even the Devil was perfect before the Fall.
Now, let’s go for an idol in Moneytalks.
C’mon, c’mon bow before the money
C’mon, c’mon listen to the money talk
We don’t need any more than that to see where they are going with this.
(1Ti 6:10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1Co 10:14) Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
Here comes the shocking part. Check out Hell’s Bells.
Rolling thunder
Pouring rain
I’m coming on like a hurricane
White lightning flashes
Across the sky
You’re only young
But you’re gonna die
Won’t take no prisoners
Won’t spare no lives
Nobody’s putting up a fight
Ah, got my bell
Gonna take you to Hell
Gonna get cha
Satan get cha
Hell’s Bells
You’ve got me ringing
Hell’s Bells
My temperature’s high
Hell’s Bells
I’ll give you strange sensations
Up and down your spine
If you’re into evil
You’re a friend of mine
See the white light flashing
As it splits the night
If God’s on the left
I’m sticking to the right!
Hell’s Bells
Satan’s coming to you
Hell’s Bells
He’s bringing the knife
Hell’s Bells
The temperature’s high
Across the sky
Can you believe this? Is this not utter insanity?
(Eph 5:11) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (1Pe 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
Brian Johnson himself, a servant of Satan, is flat out telling you that Satan is coming.
I say let the Devil come to me. I have my sword, and I’m not afraid to use it. (Jas 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. I resist you Satan, so get out of my face!
(Eph 6:11) Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Christian soldiers, knights, and warriors, lock and load, check your gear, and prepare for the spiritual battle that rages around us.
(Eph 4:27) Neither give place to the devil. Let that Serpent know there is no den for him here.
(Mat 4:10) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Our Lord was just awesome, was He not?
(2Pe 2:4) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. God made the decision, He decided if they were spared or not. This means Satan does not have the ability to take God’s children from Him.
(Rev 1:18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Jesus is in control, not Satan.
(Rev 6:8) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Again, authority was given, not something Death and Hell had naturally.
(Deu 6:5) And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Avoid the Lord, AC/DC, and you will find yourself in a place you just think you know.
(Deu 11:1) Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always. Not only are these guys not keeping this command, they are openly violating it, and encouraging others!
(Eph 5:11) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Not only am I not into evil, I openly rebuke these lost men. If they don’t change and come to realize that if God’s on the left, the left is the best place to be, they will find a new definition of suffering in Hell. Sadly, I think Bon Scott is already there, probably looking up screaming for his friends and bandmates to change their ways.
I think that will do it for this time. I think I have one more single band (likely KISS) and then one various artists to cover and expose the evil in music before we move on to something else.
Until next time, God bless.

I sorry ilike AC/DC, Pink Floyd,Def-Lappard, and all kinds of music like that. And i do believe that just b/c u listen to that music does not mean it will influence u in any way to worsihp the devil or anything like that =\. And these - - - ->Anti-Christ/ Devil’s Children, Against Christians/Die Christians are not the TRUE standings for the letters int eh bands name! The true leters came from the bottom of the young brothers mothers sewing machine, she sewed Angus’ catholic uniform and so thats where he got the name. It stands for Alternating Current” and “Direct Current” which is perfect for the band b/c of their electric guitars and such. =] REPLY plz, i want to kno more of what u think.
