Today we’re going to cover the Virgin Mary, and why worship or prayers directed towards her is not Scriptural. Mary is not the co-redeemer, nor is she anything more than a woman. She was blessed to carry and give birth to the flesh of the Lord, but she is in no way the mother of God. She is not the Queen of Heaven, but instead worships the Lord there as a servant, as we all will when we get to Heaven.

SFP 42: Contested Context

Context is probably one of the most important things to consider as we read the Bible. Context gives us understanding and colors the background to whatever we are reading. Using context, you can come to understand words or things that might not make sense to you. Today we are going to talk about context, and how by manipulating it, one can make the Bible look ‘evil’.

SFP 41: Evil Music Vol. 2: AC\DC

We’re back to continue our look at music and the darkness that is lurking therein. It seems like everywhere we turn there is the Devil’s devices staring us in the face. (2 Corinthians 2:11) AC/DC is another band that has worked tirelessly for their master. And they have no qualms whatsoever to tell you just who their master is.

SFP 40: Catholicism 2: Rosy Rosary?

Today we are going to look at the Rosary, what it is, what it means, and what it’s used for. The Rosary is taken very seriously by many, if not most, Catholics, and is deserves our time to study it.

No matter what I have been accused of, I have no problems with Catholic people. I happen to love several Catholics, my in-laws who are all members of the Catholic Church. I present this not with hatred but with concern. As it’s been pointed out, I will not make a dent at all in supposedly ‘nearly all’ Catholics, but that’s fine. If I can show the Lord Jesus to one person, I have served God.
